An accounts professional with IT expertise
1. I was an early employee at two startups (one was acquired by Google)
2. I went to business school but dropped out after the first year
3. I worked as a trader in equities at Bank of America and then as a senior portfolio manager at a hedge fund
4. I did IT consulting for Deloitte and Accenture
5. I've been an entrepreneur three times with varying degrees of success
6. In my spare time, I write books about finance, history, and self-help
7. My latest book is "Choose Yourself" which has been translated into 23 languages and is being turned into a TV series by JJ Abrams
8. My last company, Rentberry, raised $30 million from Andreessen Horowitz and other top VCs
We are turning apartments into real estate marketplaces like Expedia or Travelocity for rent
9. We had about 1,000 people on our waiting list before we even launched due to press attention. We've grown to over 100 employees now and are profitable since day one.
