Advertising ideas I can afford to do

Write the URL on hundreds of walls and have people ask 'whats The Rocco Effect?' and look it up, leading them to my site.

That's illegal though.  Maybe I could do it with chalk, chalk washes away easily so that should be ok.  Right?

Print off tons of leaflets and hand them out/post them.

I think this is a waste of money.  Whenever someone is handed a leaflet, they pretend to look interested, walk off and when out of site, bin it.
