All the places where I couchsurfed
I've been using couchsurfing.com since 2012 or so. Mostly for events and meeting up through the Hangouts feature on the app, but I also stayed with quite a few people.
I will try to make this chronological, and hopefully I won't leave out any.

1. Paris ๐ซ๐ท
This was my first couchsurfing experience. It was for my 17th or 18th birthday, my parents got me a ticket to see Paul McCartney in concert. I looked for the keyword "Paul McCartney" or "Beatles" while looking for a host to increase my chances, and it worked: the guy was also going to the concert. I was an awkward kid back then, though.
2. Malmรถ ๐ธ๐ช
3. Stockholm ๐ธ๐ช
4. Helsinki ๐ซ๐ฎ
5. Tartu ๐ช๐ช
6. Saint-Petersburg ๐ท๐บ
7. Tehran ๐ฎ๐ท
Such a great way to experience top notch Persian hospitality.
8. Montreal ๐จ๐ฆ
9. Winnipeg ๐จ๐ฆ
10. Regina ๐จ๐ฆ
11. Calgary ๐จ๐ฆ
12. Vancouver ๐จ๐ฆ
13. Portland, Oregon ๐บ๐ธ
By meeting someone at a couchsurfing event rather than sending a couch request beforehand.
14. McKinleyville or Eureka or one of those towns, can't remember, California
15. Chicago, Illinois ๐บ๐ธ
16. Toronto ๐จ๐ฆ
17. Copenhagen ๐ฉ๐ฐ
18. Kristiansand ๐ณ๐ด
19. Playa del Carmen ๐ฒ๐ฝ
20. Puerto Morelos ๐ฒ๐ฝ
My first host was a flat earthen trying to convert people. It was WEIRD. My second host was Mireia and she was lovely.
21. Istanbul ๐น๐ท
There was my experience with my good friend รmer (whom I actually met at a Couchsurfing event in the Taksim neighborhood), and a couple of other ones. One of them was weird: it was with a girl I had met up for coffee a few days before. She seemed nice, a bit weird but not necessarily in a bad way. Very friendly. She ended up being a creep.
22. Ohrid ๐ฒ๐ฐ
Lovely, quiet town. Great host, Damian, whom I've met up since in Istanbul and Sofia.
23. Thessaloniki ๐ฌ๐ท
One of my favorite hosts, Viki! There was another couchsurfer, Vasya, and we all instantly got along great. So nice when this happens. I miss them both!
