The most spiritual place in the world. Every day you can take a class in yoga, meditation, tai chi, etc. And then at night you go out and get drunk with the yogis.
A great city for young people looking to party. There are tons of Airbnb places that are really cheap and you can live there for $500 a month if you split it with a friend.
I don't know why this is so popular but there are TONS of Airbnbs in NYC. I guess it's because they have kitchens and bathrooms so they can charge more than other places. But I've stayed in many of them and they are all pretty nice and very affordable.
I've stayed in many Airbnbs in SF (where I used to live) and almost all of them were pretty nice places that looked like regular apartments or houses except they had an extra room on AirBnB to make some cash on the side. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good.
There's actually quite a few nice places to stay for cheap on AirBnb in Paris now since it's now legal to rent out your whole apartment for less than 90 days if you live there as well (you can't rent out your whole apartment for 90 days if you don't live there).
