Best Practices for Mental Toughness? Show me yours, I'll show you mine.
I will start by stating the obvious and borrow from Don Miguel Ruiz.

1. Find your IKIGAI, your WHY
It is fine if it keeps changing as you evolve. It is fine if it is not a moonshot-like mission.
2. Increase the radius of your comfort zone
This should be in all spheres of life.
Try different learning styles, move to a new home, change roles or jobs, watch a documentary instead of movies, etc. Do 40 pushups instead of 20; your standard will soon be 40 :)
3. Embrace chaos sometimes
Life is uncertain. Embracing chaos is good for building resiliency and hopefully makes you antifragile.
Make the uncomfortable comfortable. It helps with #2.
4. Awareness
Practice mindfulness and meditation. The higher your self-awareness, the clearer you become and the better your life.
5. Bias for Action
Get in the habit of thinking in terms of actions. What is the smallest action to move things forward?
6. Dont take things personally
From Don Miguel Luiz. I try to live by this.
7. Don’t make assumptions
Ask questions, understand context, clarify goals, etc.
8. Be impeccable with words
This one is one of my favorites from Doc Miguel Ruiz. It has many dimensions; keep your word, be honest, be kind in using words, etc.
9. Always do your best
10. Grit - persist - time is in your side
The Obstacle is the Way as Ryan Holiday said.
11. Faith
Knowing that the creator is on your side and everything will be just fine is the best of them all :)
