CEO in Role, Not in Essence. (1 min 13 sec)

Preview

    1. There's a distinction between the roles we play in life (like being a CEO) and our true identity.

Our real identity is spiritual and not defined by worldly roles or titles. While it's okay to perform the duties of a CEO, it's important not to let this role define your entire sense of self or worth.

    2. Believing that you are the CEO leads to an inflated ego, where the role starts to dominate your sense of self.

This moment calls for humility, acknowledging that what we are transcends any worldly accomplishments or titles. These roles are temporary and don't encompass a fraction of what we are.

    3. One of the fundamental concepts we struggle with is that we believe in the illusion of separation versus the truth of oneness.

When we identify too strongly with being a CEO, it leads to a sense of separation from others. God encourages us to see beyond these labels. Until we recognize the underlying oneness and equality of all people, regardless of their societal roles we will continue to suffer.
