Choosing Yourself: Chapter 20: Competence and The Beatles' Last Concert

John Lennon
Paul McCartney
George Harrison
Ringo Stoar

Four Men who, (according to the book) hated each other.
I find it quite remarkable that four men who shared a love for music couldn't find a way to create harmony in their relationships. Now, I understand why billions of people can't accomplish something (getting along with spouses, siblings, children, colleagues) that four men couldn't do.

    1. Don't let me down.

The cry of the world, even today. " really thought you were on my side but there's now there's nobody by my side." I can feel that. Do you feel that?
"Stranded, reaching out I call your name, but you're not around."
The world is always letting us down, at least that's been my experience.
It appears that the times change but the situations remain virtually the same.

    2. The Beatles rooftop performance.

Presence - no ego. You can't perform and be thinking about how much you hate your comrades at the same time.

No story - Just four guys on a rooftop with their instruments sharing good music with the world.

When we're sharing our gifts and talents with the world the right audience will always show up.

    3. Let it Be. Words of wisdom in only three words. Let it be - because it is.
