Considerations before getting a dog/cat

1. Does the animal get enough space and exercise?
2. Which veterinarians are there in the area?
3. Does the animal have to be neutered?
This is necessary for female cats because otherwise they are prone to a form of cancer and go into heat (and often mark with urine).
