Dear mom and dad, my 7 wishes

you wouldn't have made the sacrifices you made.

you would have put your happiness and well-being first.

you felt fulfilled in your own life and did not feel the need to live vicariously through me.

you knew that God does not require any sacrifices and the sacrifices that you made were unnecessary.

you knew that although I appreciate the intention of what you did I also realize that it is not a pattern that I wish to repeat.

you knew that your children come through you but not to you and we aren't your source of joy and happiness.

you knew how much I love and appreciate you.
