Embracing the Unstoppable Current of Life. (1 min 27 sec)

Preview

    1. Life is like a flowing river.

It has a natural rhythm of experiences, challenges, and growth. It's about going with the current and adapting to change all the while embracing the journey.

    2. The Canal vs. The River.

The canal is a man-made waterway, controlled and predictable. In life, this translates to us trying to control everything, forcing situations, and resisting the natural flow. We create rigid plans, schedules, and expectations.

    3. Why we crave the canal.

We seek the security and predictability of the canal. We fear the unknown, the unexpected turns, and the potential for challenges in the river's flow.

    4. The problem with the canal.

While canals offer a sense of control, they are also stagnant and limiting. By resisting the natural flow, we miss opportunities to experience the richness of life.

    5. Finding the flow.

It's much more fulfilling learning to navigate the river. This means developing skills to handle rapids, adjusting to changing currents, and trusting the overall direction of the flow. Our life is a dynamic journey, not a pre-defined path. Embracing the flow, with its twists and turns, allows us to experience the fullness of life.
