1. Turn within or go without.
Turning within isn't navel-gazing. Turning within is quieting the external noise and accessing the deeper wisdom through introspection and mindful awareness. Instead of seeking happiness outside, turn within and recognize happiness is already present.
2. Redefining blessings.
Blessings aren't material possessions, accomplishments, or external validation. They are qualities like peace, love, joy, and forgiveness, inherent within us but obscured by egoic desires. Blessings are our connection to God. Seeking external things as blessings reinforces the illusion of separation and leads to disappointment.
3. Reclaiming our power.
We project happiness and fulfillment onto the external world. Turning within helps us recognize these projections and reclaim our power to choose love regardless of external circumstances. Holding onto negativity blocks blessings. Forgiveness, releasing resentment, and choosing love, open us up to the flow of inner peace.
