Going On An Adventure
I'm scheduling a bunch of lists (this one was written on March 31) because I'm going on a trip with a friend. I won't be completely off work the whole time, but I committed myself to limit myself and to be entirely off-duty for at least a few days.

1. Instead of waiting until I have everything set up to take time off with zero risks, I thought I should just try it now and see what happens
2. I also realized it was important to jump on the opportunity to go on an adventure with a friend
3. I haven't taken a proper trip with a friend since 2012
This time it's with another friend.
4. I'm looking forward to being in nature and disconnect from the world for a few days
5. As I write this list, I'm thinking I should probably prepare as much as I can in terms of pausing my work before leaving
6. I'm curious to see how this trip impacts me
7. We've kept it a secret from our common close friends and I'm sooooooo excited to snap a pic from the middle of nowhere while we're riding horses and send it to them
While talking about it with my friend the other day, I laughed like a maniac.
8. This reminds me of that video where a guy says you should go on a mini-adventure three or four times a year
And start one big project every year.
