How Do You Set Yourself Up For a Good Day?
1. Get up early
I have got up earlier but these days I’m up at 6.
2. Quiet time first thing
I like the early morning when the house is quiet. Sometimes I work or write. Sometimes I drink coffee and just enjoy the peace, look out on to the garden, watch the birds, read a book.
3. Coffee
I like a nice cup of coffee first thing with fresh milk from a local dairy. This week it’s raw Jersey milk.
4. Look at my plan
I use Twos for my plan and also jot notes in my Filofax. I like to know what I need to do each day. It saves a lot of wasted time.
5. Overnight oats
I’m in an overnight oats phase. I use a small Kilner jar. A layer of cherry compote, a layer of oats, a layer of yoghurt. It sits in the fridge overnight and is lovely in the morning.
6. Shower
7. Write my list and Daily Log
I like to create my list first thing. My morning lists are much better than evening lists. I start a Daily Log in Twos. I add to it throughout the day.
8. Be creative
I like to make time for writing. Or tweaking my Obsidian notes or published digital garden.
