1. Love.
Acts of Kindness: Holding the door open for someone is an act driven by love and consideration for others.
Compassion: Offering a listening ear and emotional support to a friend going through a tough time demonstrates love and empathy.
Forgiveness: Choosing to forgive, and having the correct perception, of someone who has "wronged" you is an act of love, as it releases anger and resentment.
2. Fear.
Judgment: Making negative assumptions about someone without knowing them is rooted in fear of the unknown.
Conflict: Engaging in arguments and disagreements with others stems from a fear of being wrong or not being heard.
Avoidance: Avoiding challenges and new experiences out of fear of failure or discomfort limits us in ways we don't even imagine.
