How to do an affordable wedding

Let's get married

1. Choose a friend's house/backyard as the venue

2. Find an affordable caterer

3. Find an affordable DJ

4. Find an affordable Florist

5. Find an affordable bar/alcohol/bartender

6. Rent table and chairs

- For the ceremony

- For the dinner after the ceremony

7. Find an affordable baker/cake provider

8. Rent your dress/suit

9. Find an affordable photographer

10. Plan lots of special moments that do not cost anything

- Create a killer playlist of songs for the night

- Write your own vows

- Give a 'thank you' toast from yourself your guests for coming. Hand pick a few people to give you a toast.

- Have a champagne cocktail hour

- Take selfies with guests

- Do a 'sparkler' exit

- Print off old family photos to display them at the wedding

- First dance, mother's dance, friend's dance

- Try to chat with as many people as possible
