How to save NotePD or does it need Saving?
That's an interesting topic. Here are a few spontaneous thoughts.
1. Is it sustainable?
As long as the site benefits a number of people and generates some income (perhaps through donations), it serves its purpose.
2. Setting personal goals could be a way to motivate users to post and interact
Users could post in their profile what types of ideas they could use and what's currently on their mind. Maybe someone is on the quest of writing a book or planning a long vacation and some ideas by others would be appreciated.
3. Sharing lists of ideas on other social networks should be encouraged
There should always be a short note with the lists when sharing: NotePD is a platform for collecting and sharing ideas.
4. Small is beautiful
I don't mind being on a social network with only a hundred active members, as long as there are some interesting things going on.
5. Make the ideas useful
We live in difficult times, and I think everyone needs innovative solutions to problems and some new input. NotePD could be marketed as a place to get ideas and solutions.
6. Remove some distractions?
In my opinion, the site would be better without AI-generated images (or any images in the posts at all) and without the AI assistants.
7. Make it more about the people with interesting profiles
Something to show off, with statistics, diagrams, questions and answers. Something about the users they can show on other networks.
8. I don't care about the streak
But it seems to work for a lot of people.
