How to stay motivated and avoid procrastination

Steps to wake up motivated, complete all daily tasks and avoid procrastination.

    1. Wake up early

    Get sunlight in the morning. This is how your body knows it's morning.

    2. Exercise

    Get blood flowing to brain. Again, this is how your body knows it's time to wake up.

    3. Have a purpose for each day and for each task you do.

    If you are writing a novel, for example, ask yourself why does this novel need to be written? Who is it for? What problem does it solve? How will people benefit from reading it?

    4. Write down 3 things that went well today before going to bed.

    This is an exercise from "The Power of Before". When I started doing this I noticed my life had more quality because there was less negativity. It's easier to work on something when you have a positive attitude about where you are at in the process instead of focusing on all the negative aspects and being discouraged by them.

    5. Laugh every day! Watch funny videos before starting work or writing anything serious.

    There are studies that show humor improves creativity and productivity.
