How to think calming thoughts

Something dark clouds form in your mind from various situations and you need to to think your way out of it.

    1. Think of the things you are grateful for

    Your mind

    Your body

    Your skills - reading, writing, speaking

    2. Meditate and focus on your breathing

    Empty your mind of troubling thoughts

    3. Get outside and move your body

    Get the blood flowing.

    4. Think of something you want to accomplish

    Sometime what's right in front of you is not great. But think of where you are going to go.

    5. Watch a program

    Interesting movie or TV show.

    6. Volunteer

    How can you focus on other people, animals or the community?

    7. Read a book

    Books are a great escape

    8. Repeat your mantra

    The more you say it, the closer you will come to making it a reality.
