I Wish I Was An Ugly Man

We live in a world of perception. There is no objective reality.

Everyone has a different view on how they define beauty.

What you perceive as flawless and attractive might be the exact opposite for someone else.

It would give me ample opportunity to work on my inner self and go beyond form.

It would force me to find the beauty within.

It would be much easier to disintegrate my identity/ego.

Because I'm ugly I'd be more inclined to discover a way to unite with others.

I'd have a decreased sense of self-importance.

It would be an open invitation for me to look at everyone (including myself) with the eyes of love rather than judgment.

I would know how it felt to be constantly judged by others so I would judge less.

I would smile more often because frowning would make me uglier.

I'd have a more positive outlook on life because I'd be one of the few people who's not wearing a mask.

Nothing would phase me because I would be used to the negative reactions of others.

I'd get to practice the mantra "it ain't nothing until you call it."

I could practice forgiveness on a daily basis.

I'd learn very quickly that I can choose to have a positive look on life regardless of what others think about me.
