“It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) (1 min 26 sec)

    1. The oneness of giving and receiving.

Giving and receiving are one, inseparable reality. When we give, we are truly receiving, and when we receive, we are giving. There is only One Mind in which we are all unified.
Giving is a natural extension and expression of our true Self as divine love. To give is to recognize and affirm our wholeness by extending it outward. Giving blesses the giver by allowing the experience of our true nature.
Receiving, on the other hand, is challenging for the ego, which seeks to make us feel separate, lacking, and in need of external gifts.
Each act of giving is a miracle that affirms our unity.
Jesus' words point to the greater blessing of giving aligned with the truth of our divine nature as love itself. To receive while believing in separation is to perpetuate the dream of scarcity. But to give is to awaken to the reality that we are already complete.
Giving and receiving occurs within the One Mind. What we give, we give to ourselves, for there is nothing outside of our shared reality to give to or receive from. Giving blesses us by undoing our belief in what was never true - our separation from the infinite, eternal love that is our true Self.
