Ways of using a journal.
1. Write down your goals every day
2. Write down three things you are grateful for each day
3. Write down ten ideas a day
4. Write down negative experiences and how you overcame them
5. Write a novel
Every day write one page of the novel
6. Describe the details of your life in detail every day
Later you can use these as stories or novels or movies or TV shows or whatever you want
This is what David Mamet did to become a writer and he's written like 50 plays and many great movies, etc
He wrote his first book, "The Diary", about this exact idea
