"Judge not, that you be not judged." Matthew 7:1 (1 min 8 sec)

    1. Everything we perceive as "good" or "bad" is rooted in the ego's judgment system.

Judging others reinforces the illusion of separation and our egoic perception of a separated self. Releasing our judgments allows us to see beyond the illusory labels we place on other people.

    2. The judgments we make about others are projections of our own unhealed minds.

By judging others, we resist forgiveness for ourselves. Releasing the need to judge allows us to forgive ourselves and see others with loving eyes.

    3. Instead of judging, Jesus asks us to choose love in every situation

In this way, we learn to see everyone as our brother and sister. We see everyone as deserving of compassion and understanding. It's not about condoning actions, but about recognizing the shared divinity within all of God's Creation.

    4. We're not advocating suppressing your emotions or becoming passive.

Healing the mind is about recognizing the source of our judgments and choosing a loving responses instead.
