Not talking about being judged by others here - but about what constitutes good judgment
1. The first job of a good leader is making good judgment calls about what needs to be done or not done
2. Long term success of your business is based on your judgment calls
3. Executing on that judgment call is necessary
4. Making the call is only one part of the business of good judgment
5. That involves making judgment calls about which team members to place on projects and which projects take priority
6. The leader is the architect of action - chief project manager of projects
7. The buck stops with the leader - he or she asks for lots of input but makes the final judgment call/decision
8. Good judgment without action is worthless
9. Nobody is brilliant all the time - what really counts is the percentage of judgment calls a leader gets right
10. Don’t get into the habit of making judgment calls on trivial issues
11. BONUS: You need clarity on what’s trivial and what isn’t - perhaps the most important judgment call you’ll ever make in any endeavor - personal or business
