A belief in fairness and justice, and may often be the one to lay out the parameters for what would make something fair or win-win for all parties involved. Thinking more deeply, this can mean deciding between equality, restitution, and equity and laying out how to best enact these measures. Being sought out as the objective arbiter in difficult situations gives authority and standing.
Sometimes a situation or compromise is lose-lose where no one is particularly happy, and the arbiter ofthat may bear the brunt of both sides. Don't be ignorant of the fact that many people would want a "fair" outcome at all.2. Relational
It can be easier to figure something out by figuring what it is not. Having a sounding board, a comparison, or a partner greatly helps discover boundaries and information about the world. A mediator between parties and a softener or hardener of words, as the situation calls for, and almost always willing to help de-escalate a situation. People may find such a person indispensible as a go-between and problem-solver of image and relations, whether personal, public, or international.
This can result in problems with confrontation, as not every tense situation can be de-escalated with a fair tongue or negotiation. Giving equal voice to both sides of a situation can give a false sense of equivalence, and outward peace may only mask or hide deeper injustice.5. Arbitrary
When seeking all information and weighing all pros and cons, there may be the inevitable conclusion that there is no best answer. Perhaps a great many things all come down to arbitrary, subjective tastes, and if even things such as morals may be relative, then the ultimate judge for it all is the self. Having this power to see the actions and rewards of each path and their respective justifications comes in handy for any endeavour one does decide to engage, as arguing the case can easily be done.
It's the deciding that's the hard part. This can ultimately lead to being frozen with indecisiveness about the many paths to be taken. Weighing pros and cons endlessly instead of choosing any action, or even contradicting and undoing past decisions with this wishy-washiness can come off as weakness of integrity or at least unbearable flakiness.6. Co-operative
Often a wonderful team player if not also a leader when it comes to reaching a goal or just enjoying a good time together. This positive social skill helps make many things possible when others may otherwise sobotage results with competitiveness or egoism. Having a good understanding of give-and-take and sharing of the load means that no one will be overly-burdened or given a free ride on the backs of others.
Sometimes this willingness to co-operate with others may lead to co-operation with not just the "enemy" for the sake of results but with someone who normally shouldn't be tolerated at all. Whether it is easier to manage the public relations fallout from this, suffer from higher uneeded conflict, or even having to deal with both and be backstabbed and not achieve results anyway, is not always an easy outcome to predict or decision to make.
