Lighting Each Other's Flame. (1 min 9 sec)

Preview

    1. You're at the beach and feeling thirsty.

You see someone else also looking thirsty, with an empty water bottle.
What the outer-directed approach is not:
Giving away your own bottle: This feels like you are sacrificing your own needs like you barely have enough.
Pitying them: This creates a big separation between you and them – you have water, they don't.
    What the outer-directed approach is:
Because you know the ocean is right there, you point them towards the ocean, a source of unlimited water for everyone. You guide their path and cheer them on as they drink to their heart's content.
    Love is similar.
Your love isn't limited. Love is endless, like the vast ocean.
You don't give out of obligation.
You share love naturally, like the ocean offers water without expecting anything in return.
You help others find their own "ocean".
When you show love and kindness you inspire others to access their own ability to love.

    I am sorry.
    Please forgive me.
    Thank you.
    I love you.
