1. What is a grievance?
A grievance is a feeling of indignation or resentment stemming from the feeling of having been wronged.
2. What is indignation?
Indignation is a strong feeling of displeasure or anger aroused by something unjust, mean, or unworthy. It's a mix of anger and disapproval.
Here's a breakdown of indignation:
Emotional Response: It's a strong emotion accompanied by feelings of frustration, disgust, or outrage.
Moral Judgment: It's a sense of righteousness - you believe something wrong has been done to you and feel it's unfair.
Focus on Injustice: It's a feeling triggered by something you perceive as unjust, offensive, or insulting.
3. Love doesn't do that.
Do what? Hold any grievances.
Love itself has no possibility of comprehending indignation or resentment or anything wrong happening. We were created by Love like itself, as an outpouring of love.
We cannot hang on to these false ideas of being wronged and experience ourselves as loving, holy, kind, helpful, and perfect.
