Meet My Virtual Advisory Board - 10 Seats
An advisory board is a body that provides non-binding strategic advice to the management of a corporation, organization, or foundation.
Reid Hoffman, LinkedIn co-founder, tells leaders, "The fastest way to change yourself is to hang out with people who are already the way you want to be."
We are our own start-up. In fact, Reid wrote a whole book about this called The Start-Up of You.
It's not uncommon for us to be inspired by people closest to us, such as family and close friends, or by accomplished people we admire who have positively impacted the world and encouraged us to be our best.
I have my own board of advisors. I have never met any one of them face to face, but I hope to one day. I consult them through their work, learn from their successes and failures, and get inspired by their grit.
