My experience in Alicante
Preview
1. Fairly boring
2. I thought it was ugly
3. The main beach was okay
4. The beach further east is more low-key, nothing exceptional though
5. I met up with an Italian couchsurfer the first night, it was fine
6. The next day I met up with another couchsurfer at that low-key beach, it was kinda fun
7. I had a delicious iced white chocolate mocha
8. The hostel was disappointing
I missed the hostel vibe, but it was kinda quiet despite being full, and the few people I talked to I didn't vibe with.
9. The overall experience was rather pointless
10. After two nights I headed to the train station to go to Valencia, I was hoping to find a public piano and...
there was one but it was covered by a sheet (or whatever you call it), indicating it couldn't be played. Since I recently started learning the piano, this was quite disappointing! I actually got to play a little bit at Brussels Airport, some keys didn't work but it was still fun. I only know one song but it's a start!
