I like to make self-help comics with the best bits of advice I've gathered.

    1. Choice

If we choose to do something we'll be a lot happier, compared to if we were forced to do the same thing. Make people choose what you want them to do and they'll be a lot happier and you'll experience less/no pushback.

    2. Share ideas

If they're good enough to get stolen, you'll be seen as a mastermind of ideas. You're new ideas will be highly valued. If they're bad, you'll be quickly told. And if they're needing work, flaws will be quickly patched.

Ideas are a dime a dozen. Execution is what matters, if your willing to execute the best thing you can do is to share initial ideas.

    3. Perception

Are you angry at the situation or are you angry at your perception of the situation?

Things are neither good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

    4. Powerless speach

Don't use words/phrases that make you sound less confident.

    Eg.

    Maybe
    Probably
    Sort of
    I think
    I could be wrong
    I feel like...
This might be a stupid idea, but...
Can I ask you a question?
Let me bounce an idea off you

Even if you're wrong, you'll be seen as a confident person and people will look up to you as a leader.

    5. Word choice

Words determine how we think. Thinking determines or feelings and actions.

Are the words you are using true? What are the consequences to your feelings/actions as a result of using them?

    Eg

    This is a disaster?
    You're literally Hitler
    That was a tragedy

Words determine how we think and feel.

The news businesses knows this just look at how two sides can report the exact same thing but get you viewing the situation differently. One person's rioter is another's peaceful protester. One person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. Take time to view the same story from multiple sources and you'll soon see that what you're reading isn't an accurate report, it's a narrative. A narrative that drives you to think and act in a certain way. This is evident when we view the thoughts /actions of people based on the coverage they consume.

We can all see these vast differences, but we are blind to the difference that happen between the words we tell ourselves. How would you feel /act if we changed how we think about our situations.

    6. Process >outcome

Focus on the process, not the outcome. Good process will eventually lead to good outcomes. Or will put you in the best possible position to find them.

Seek the best process for desired outcomes. Do it and let the process evolve as you learn more.

    7. Build a support network

And don't let them lose trust.

We all need support sometimes. Having a network to catch you is the difference between having a bad and a terrible time.

    8. Fear

You are a slave to your fears. If you want freedom, face them.

    9. Everything sends a message

What underlying message is it sending. If it's not the method you want to send don't do it /buy it/wear it ect

    10. Investment buying

When buying anything think in terms of investment.

What gains/losses do you get out of what you're buying.

Aim for maximum gains and minimum losses.

Healthy food may lack in taste, but you'll be healthier /have more energy,.

    11. Describe things as they are (closely liked to words)

Describe things as they are. Eg. I have a pain in my arm.
Don't embellish and lie Eg. This pain in my arm is killing me.

The more we repeat something the more we believe it's true, don't allow yourself to believe a little pain is killing you, or else it might end up doing just that

    12. With great responsibility comes great power

When your responsible for something you have power over that and as a result all things that rely on that.

If you want to become more power, take on powerful responsibilities

    13. Fault

When the people at fault for a problem are unable or unwilling to fix it, your only choices are to live with the problem or find solutions unrelated to who is at fault.

    14. Anger

Angry people are easy to control. You give a false source for the anger then state ways on how to destroy the false source.

    15. Priming

Tell people you like them because.... And list qualities you like (even if they don't really have them they'll now believe they do, now that focus is put upon them they will show these qualities more when with you). Remember to praise them when they do.

    16. Think Differently

Learn multiple subjects and in the process, learn how those people think.

Thinking about any subject from multiple perspectives leads to the best solutions.
