I want to find a way to divert money so I can save up for various toys. Here's ways to do that.
1. Swear Jar
2. Keep Glass Return Money Separate
3. Put $5 a month aside into a savings account
4. Air Miles Cash Miles
These can't be turned into cash sadly. But if I record the money I save by using them, maybe I can divert an equal amount to the savings account.
5. Money saved with a promo code gets sent to savings account
6. Buy groceries and other sundries with cash, and store the change
7. Invest in a Helium Hotspot and devote the earnings to toys
8. Invest in a GIC and and devote the earnings to toys
9. Trade Starbucks Rewards For Cash
At a premium, of course.
