Potential Retirement Jobs
Got a few years to go, but thinking about things to do when I leave my current job. Hobbies are great, but will have a lot of time to do something productive.
Prefer to start in the early AM, and to not be alone. Also, employers may not want older folks, but they do want people who are dependable and available. That would be the retired me.

1. Golf Course Attendant
Starter or front desk. Very social jobs, and maybe free golf at the course. Or maybe cutting the grass - not very social, but could be really zen.
2. School Bus driver
Working with kids helps keep you young.
3. Consultant
For non-profit organizations (NGOs). Been in the field since '83. Tell folks what they ought to be doing, how to do it, but don't actually have to do it. And get paid for it, then paid again when they don't do what you told them to do.
4. Copywriting
Been thinking about this for a while. Major imposter syndrome has held me up. When I have a lot of time to fill, maybe I'll just do it.
5. "Full Time" officiating
Take on other sports besides football - lacrosse in the spring, something in the winter - and do youth sports as well as high school.
6. Crossing Guard
Same reason as bus driver.
7. Digital Products
Looks like folks are making money using AI to create books, printables, and such. May need to learn this... not very social, but sounds like it would be fun. And maybe profitable...
8. Uber Driver
Like driving, and certainly can be a social endeavor.
9. Professional nap taker
Have seen scientific studies that need people to take naps. What's the pay rate there?
10. Live liver donor....
Joke. But IYKYK.
