Pros and Cons of Lists:

Lists are useful for engaging our system 1 (re: Kahneman's two-modes of thinking). At the same time, the linear order of lists make it hard to draw logical relationships between the list ideas themselves. And often, its the connection between ideas that are important for creativity.
