Reasons to move your furniture around
I bought a new rug that would be easier to clean if my cats 'had an accident' on it. In the process of moving the carpet, I changed the configuration of my living room. It made quite a difference! These are reasons why I like to move my furniture around every year.
1. You may find a configuration that feels better
I don't know about the spiritual aspects of Feng Shui, but I do know that when I am influenced by its principles, the rooms feel less cluttered and seem to have more energy
2. You may find space that was underutilized
Clutter may be hiding some space that you are not using effectively.
3. You may discover items that need to be thrown out
I found a number of old books, magazines that need to be thrown out.
4. The change in environment may spur you to make more changes in your house
This has definitely inspired me to keep making changes. Next on my list - repainting the living room.
