How should I go about gathering new Ideas for my store?
1. People watching
When I was in uni I was tasked with drawing random people. This task makes you really look at strangers that for the most part are as good as a blur.
Nowadays I look around and notice what people are wearing. What people say they like and what they spend money on isn't always the same. This allows me to see where the money is actually spent.
I can do quick sketches then add my own spin to them when touching them up.
2. Art
I like to look at real art as well. This allows me to figure out aesthetics I like. Changing aesthetics on AI can change a bad photo to a great one.3. Colours
What colours work well together? Limited pallets seem to work better than lot's of colours. If it's really limited then you can make images into an embroidery.4. Quotes
Deep dive into sites and save what you love. Use AI to find one's you'll enjoy. Short and sweet work best.5. Ask friends
Have others send art and quotes they like. Work with the ones that show up most.6. Comics
If you can make someone smile they're far more likely to buy. Comics are designed to generate quick smiles. See what I can steal from there.7. New collection
See what helps improve people and then work backwards from there in finding new collections I can make.
