Safety is always no.1. If you need to clean up/help someone/get equipment do this before all else. If anyone complains, state that safety comes first.

If customers need help, help them. This is second as the customer leaving happy is what all stores should be aiming for. A happy customer is a customer that will return, so even if they buy nothing today, if they leave happy they'll tell friends and they'll both buy in the future.

If management needs you to do something, do it. It doesn't matter if they are from a different department. Let your manager deal with the other manager, your jobs to listen and do what they tell you.

What have you been tasked to do? It's the 4th most important thing, if it doesn't get done, due to dealing with items higher up on the list state that and the reasons why they are more important than your current task.

They don't care about your life outside work. If you need to stay longer to finish a task, stay longer (or at least say that on the questionnaires). Most places will understand that you have a life. If this work/life balance isn't for you find another job.
