1. Pro: Day of Rest
Whether you follow Christian doctrine or just because a lot of Western society follows it enough to slow down commerce on Sundays - they are less busy.
2. Con: Everything You Didn't Get To During The Week
Errands, chores, repairs... the stuff you didn't do during the week because of work/school is waiting for you.
3. Pro: Sleeping In
This is a great day to catch a few more Zzzzs.
4. Con: Less of the Day
Sundays have no more hours than any other day so can you afford to waste them?
5. Pro: Weekend Flavour
You can still savour the fun you had on Saturday and Friday night, and there may be fun stuff on Sunday for you to do...
6. Con: Tomorrow is Monday
Cue the dread.
7. Pro: More Time With Family
With both work and school off, the odds are you'll see your family the most on a Sunday. Sunday dinners are family time for many families.
8. Con: Overdosing on Family
Even the most functional families can use space and quality time is best when delivered in measured doses. The pressure to spend time together can be counter-productive.
9. Pro: Traditions
The aforementioned Sunday dinner, football, church, hiking/walks... any (or maybe even all) can be part of a meaningful Sunday
10. Con: Rigidity/Dogma
Those same traditions can become a rut, or cause friction.
