Surviving as a Middle/Lower-Middle Class.
1. Creating Our Own Neighborhood Gardens
Imagine a neighborhood where everyone has their own garden. One person might be good at growing peppers while another person might be really good at growing lettuce or onions. There will be people that are really good at growing certain things and other people that aren't the best at growing certain things. However, if we combine all of the people who are growing their own produce we essentially could have a "neighborhood garden" with enough vegetables and Edibles to generate a healthy food supply benefiting those closest to us. This would not only save everyone money at the grocery stores, but also keep our hard earned money away from big box retailers. This idea could prove beneficial on multiple fronts and will be necessary now and in the future for the lower and middle class to thrive.
2. Swapping Perks
Say one person has a bunch of airline miles and they do not travel via airplane anymore. Meanwhile, another person has a bunch of hotel rewards points, but they do not stay at hotels anymore. What if both parties could benefit from one another? what the other did not then I believe it would be a great way to reduce spending amd benefit from bartering.
3. Live beneath our means
Instead of fixating on that new item that we feel we need to make an Impulse Buy on I think that all of us could greatly benefit from focusing on the items we do have. Before buying consider bartering. One's trash is another's treasure!
