Ten Celebrities that I get a positive vibe from: when I hear about them I feel good

I started this as a branched post for "Ten Celebrities I Can Do Without," but that was way too easy to write, and I started to draw on negative energy.

These people seem to be genuinely nice, are usually up to something cool and have few haters (for the most part).

1. Dave Grohl

Excellent drummer. There are some videos of him playing by himself that show how good he is: not usually flashy. I'm actually not a really big fan of his music, but he is just an all around cool guy as far as I can tell. His book is very good: "Storyteller"

Yes, Keanu being nice to people is a meme but he also seems to be the read deal.

5. Tina Fey

Legend. Also a genuinely nice guy behind his aggressive appearance.

7. Paul McCartney

8. Carlos Peña

One of the nicest people I have ever encountered. Genuine and full of positive energy. He lives in my town and coached my son.

9. Elon Musk

He has quite a few haters, and he is pretty out there sometimes. He has some extraordinary personal demons but still usually has a great sense of humor and is always in the public eye. He is a rare genius and cares deeply about humanity and what he believes is "right." He already has had an impact on humanity, similar to Leonardo DaVinci. Measuring his total impact will take a long time, and he is not done yet.

10. Shaquille O'Neal

He also lives in my area, and I have seen him driving around sometimes. He is funny, smart and likes to have a good time. He had Heelys custom-made:

He seems to advertise anything that someone will put into his hands. He is very active with charities. I don't follow basketball and he probably had beefs on the court but he is well liked these days.
