Ten Foods I Eat Regularly

In the last 3 years, I have transformed my eating habits. These are my go-to foods today that I always have in stock. I eat most of these multiple times a week. In 2024, I removed candy, which was my #1 for decades. I will pretty much eat and enjoy anything except for a handful of foods.

    These are the best but are only in season for a few months a year. They cost a lot but #worthIt.

    4. Soup with a block of frozen squash, vegetables and an egg with hot sauce for lunch

    This tastes better than it sounds. The squash adds a lot of bulk without changing the flavor too much.

    5. Popcorn

    I invested in an air popper and "exotic" Amish popcorn.

    6. Protein Powder smoothies with frozen fruit

    I bought a Cuisinart immersion blender and I can make these in the cup.

    7. Seltzer Water

    Whatever is on sale: Bubbly, La Croix, etc. These are an acquired taste but there is no added sugar and they feel "light"

    8. Grilled/smoked meat

    I make something on the grill every week. This week's food was salmon, brisket, and ribs.

    9. Coffee in a French Press

    10. Yogurt

    11. Nuts
