Ten Little Known TV Shows from the 1960's
Memory checking... I remember #5 fairly vividly, and #7 a bit. The others wouldn't be anything an under 10 year old would want to watch.
1. Coronet Blue (1967)
A mysterious drama about a man with amnesia whose only clue to his identity are the words “Coronet Blue.” Canceled before revealing the mystery.
2. The Immortal (1969–1971)
A man with blood that grants immunity to illness is hunted by those who want to exploit it.
3. The New People (1969–1970)
A group of college students survive a plane crash on a remote island and attempt to start a new society.
4. The Loner (1965–1966)
Created by Rod Serling, this Western followed a thoughtful former Union officer wandering the post–Civil War West.
5. My Mother the Car (1965–1966)
A man’s deceased mother is reincarnated as a talking 1928 Porter automobile. Widely panned, but memorable for its odd premise.
6. Run for Your Life (1965–1968)
A man diagnosed with a terminal illness tries to live life to the fullest in his remaining time.
7. Branded (1965–1966)
Chuck Connors stars as a dishonored Army officer trying to clear his name in the Old West.
8. Occasional Wife (1966–1967)
A bachelor convinces a woman to pretend to be his wife so he can get a promotion at work.
9. The Baileys of Balboa (1964–1965)
Comedy about a charter boat captain clashing with yacht club snobs.
10. T.H.E. Cat (1966–1967)
A former circus acrobat and cat burglar turns bodyguard-for-hire in this stylish action series.
