The Places I've Been
As a high school football official, I've had the privilege of working at many stadiums since 2004. Here are some of my favorites...
1. Hinchliffe Stadium, Paterson
Newly renovated, primarily a baseball field, but historic Negro League stadium.
2. Bayonne High
On a peninsula in Newark Bay, one end of the field has the Bay behind the end zone. Good kickers can kick the ball into the bay.
3. Weehawken High

Literally at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel heading into / out of NYC.
4. Schools Stadium, Newark
Another historical stadium. Home field for Barringer High, but used by several other schools. Parking is bad (street only), but the facility is great once parked.

5. Hoboken High School
In the middle of the city, apartment buildings surround the field.

6. MetLife Stadium
Site of State finals, but haven't reached that level, yet. Many years working the Snow Bowl fundraiser flag football tourney to raise money for Special Olympics.

7. Giants Stadium
Cerebral Palsy of NJ used to run a flag tourney here, and the first year of the Snow Bowl were held here.

8. Not yet, but hopefully soon... Union City
A high school stadium... on top of the high school.

9. Honorable Mention - Kearny High
Can't find a picture with the view, but the home team stands have a great view of Manhattan. [Ex post facto edit - lifted one from a friend.]
