Things That Kept Me From Doing Today's List This AM
Normally, I start my morning at work with a list here. But, today it just didn't work out that way. What was on the agenda that got in the way?
1. December financial reporting
There are a number of reports I do for the boss above the basics, and I didn't have all the data until the end of the day yesterday.
2. Bureau of Labor Statistics Quarterly Report
Not due until 1/31, but I was in the payroll program so I got it done.
3. A/P Automation
We're implementing automation for our bill processing (Docuware), since our Admin is going to be our HR person as of 2/01. She processed the bills, so I insisted on something to automate the data entry. Going OK, but the connector program between Docuware and Quickbooks doesn't work as promised. So, I spend time with their support and our IT company pushing them to get it right.
4. Medicaid Billing
Trying to sort out issues with a couple of clients... their billings got rejected for no apparent reason.
5. ACA Reporting
Had to review our reporting in ADP to make sure it was good to go before ADP starts processing them tomorrow.
6. Office Traffic
Our folks who wanted to talk, or drop something off. Not a problem, but it does chew up time.
7. AM Banking
Downloading and checking the main checking account, credit cards, and debit cards activity.
