Our friends have a boat near Newport and we always go fishing at least one day - today was the first in 2 years - so nice to be back together !
1. The color of the water changing as we go deeper
2. The sounds of seagulls and water lapping against the boat
3. The sound from one of us.. Got one ! …. It’s a joint effort getting it in the boat
4. The sound of the fish going back into the water because it was too small ( a lot today)
5. The colors of the boats and sails
6. Watching the hydro sailing - wow!
7. The lonely sound of a buoy across the bay - it screams New England to me
8. The views from the water - good to gain a different perspective !
9. Watching the sunset from the boat or dock
10. Coming home with our legal limit - air fryer fish tacos tomorrow!!!!
11. The shower - to wash off all the fish smell!!! And the squid ink from my fingers !
