True Existence: (1 min 37 sec)

    1. Why Descartes got lost in his own mind.

Descartes' famous assertion "I think, therefore I am" posits that the act of thinking is proof of one's existence. This statement implies that the ability to doubt, reason, and contemplate is evidence of the self. However, this understanding is limited and somewhat misguided.
The ego is the source of all our thoughts and is responsible for the perception of separation from God. And the ego's thought system is based on fear, illusion, and a false sense of identity. Our true existence and knowledge come from recognizing our unity with God, beyond the ego's illusions.
Descartes' assertion focuses on the thinking self, which is an identification with the ego. While Descartes claims that thought proves existence, true existence is found not in the thinking mind but in the awareness of our oneness with God. Therefore, Descartes' statement is a reflection of the ego's attempt to affirm itself rather than a recognition of our true spiritual self.
Descartes' conclusion overlooks the deeper truth that lies beyond the ego's realm. True self-awareness is transcending the ego's thought system and embracing the eternal, unchanging reality of our spiritual nature.
