I was originally going to make a list titled Attitude & Gratitude, but it became something I didn't want to share so here we are.
My youngest nephew turned one and we went to his party this weekend. He's the happiest little dude.
1. The birthday party
Who knew a cover band could be more fun & at this point better than the band itself? Hysterically, we were probably the youngest people there by a good 15-20 years but who cares? I still danced and sang the night away.
2. The concert
Gorgeous drive up north to celebrate one of the best friend's I could ever have. Meeting her parents explained so much - they're amazing! I'm so happy the day went well.
3. The baby shower
They constantly pop into my mind, and just like many other things in my life, I can't seem to bring it from mind to writing. Something to keep working on.
4. The lists
Found a few neuropsych's who have the qualifications and will do testing on adults with complicated backgrounds. Interestingly, most do not test adults, and if they do refuse to evaluate those with a history of trauma as it makes the whole process much more challenging. Extra fun part: many don't take insurance or if they do there's about a year waitlist. It's a ride, but I made an appointment.
5. The appointment
My loving, intelligent, gorgeous friend is on some new fad diet kick. Not because she wants to, she hates it. But because her husband told her she needs to lose ten pounds. She's physically healthy, already active and eats well. All I can really do is be there as a friend, but I hate seeing her wilt from unnessecary criticism.
6. The friend’s husband
Sleepy time. To write more lists later.
