Ways to improve the flow of people leaving a concert or other venue

1. Exits that don’t all open into the same space

2. Don’t rush people out immediately after the show

3. Locate shops, merch, exhibits, food, etc. in the opposite direction of the exits

4. Empty the venue in sections or rows

5. Avoid the use of elevators as much as possible

6. Hallways should be as free of obstacles as possible.

7. People will gather outside of the restrooms. Place them adjacent to, but not in the main flow.

8. Have premium egress available as part of a price or ticket upgrade
