Ways to reduce your plastic use -- from someone who works in plastics
1. Use a reusable water bottle and coffee cup at work.
2. When making consumer purchases, buy items that will last. If you keep using a durable product, you will use/buy less.
3. Be sure to tell your server you don't need a straw. Once they put it on your table, it will have to be discarded.
