"We are not meant to be happy, we are meant to be mature." (Mere Christianity) (1 min 13 sec)

    1. We all want to be happy, right?

But we chase happiness like it's the ultimate prize. It leaves us feeling kinda empty. There's more to life than just feeling good and having a good time.

    2. Learning from our experiences and becoming spiritually mature is more significant than simply seeking fleeting moments of happiness.

    3. What does it mean to be spiritually mature?

Spiritual maturity is linked to the depth of your inner peace and your sense of connection to love.
    Spiritual maturity is:
    - Transcending the ego and its illusions.
    - Releasing the emotions of anger, resentment, and judgment.
    - Forgiving others and ourselves.
    - Taking responsibility for our thoughts, words, and actions.
    - Serving others and acting from a place of compassion and love.
    - Going beyond egoic desires and focusing on contributing to the well-being of others and the world.
    - Living in the present moment.
    - Not dwelling on the past.
    - A personal journey of transcending ego limitations.
