What 10 Items Can You Not Live Without?
I'm going to skip over things like water and food, assuming those are sort of the same for everybody. I'm not sure I can get to 10 otherwise, though. So I'm not going for literal survival, but rather maintaining my current level of desire and comfort.

1. Books.
2. Pocket computer.
This is misleading. I could actually live without this quite easily. Have done so at times while enjoying a weekend in a consciously-chosen off-the-grid place. I'm including it to mean an item I could not live without and still maintain the ease and connection I have have now, not in in a survival sort of way.
3. Coffee.
Without this, I'd just as soon stick to water.
4. Peanut butter.
This is my go-to, along with the next one.
5. Cottage cheese.
Yes, I know it sounds weird. But between peanut butter and cottage cheese, I always have a base.
6. Chocolate.
I can live without this. But why?
7. Air conditioning.
The older I get, the more I have difficulty with heat. I will let this stand for climate control in general—it provides me heat in the winter.
8. Comfortable socks.
Again, not survival. This is just wanting to live.
9. My guitar.
This is going from "what I must have to survive" to "what would I grab if the house was on fire."
10. The few people I am close to.
My wife. My children. Could I survive? Sure. I'm enough of an introvert that I would manage. But I wouldn't want to.
