1. Be patient - some things take time
2. Find work you love to do and are really good at
3. Learn about yourself - what are your strengths? What are your weaknesses?
4. Learn how/where/when you do your best work - remote? In an office?
5. Prioritize physical fitness - I want to look and move like a professional athlete. This takes discipline and healthy eating habits.
6. Prioritize mental fitness - train the mind to stay calm and focused. Use your breath. Meditate. Read constantly.
7. Stay in touch with people you meet.
8. Invest in a few close friends.
9. Be the initiator - choose yourself. Don't wait for others to call you, become interested in you, choose you.
10. Be a producer - not a consumer. Example: put out an idea list every day vs. endless scrolling on social media.
